i'm pretty bored.

So since I'm pretty sure that Eric Greenhalgh (did i spell that right?) is the only one that openly admits to reading my blog I shall address this entry to him-

Dear Eric,
Well as you know my toe is broken- and did you know that when your toe is broken every single kid you come in contact with will step on it? Sure enough. It's true. If you don't believe me you can break your toe and then see how it just attracts children to it. Is there such thing as breaking it twice? Of course there is, well I'm sure it is possible at least. Well anyways, it kills.

Today was my last day at work. And it was sad. And they gave me flowers and cards and told me how wonderful i am. It made me feel good, and professional and all that. I don't know if it's just me, but eventhough I am 23 years old, about to graduate from college, and am married, i still feel like im 12. Like I think I have the Benjamin Button disease, but only in my mind. Like the older I get, the younger my mind thinks I am. It's crazy, and i feel like i should still have to have my parents sign my homework agenda, and I'm pretty sure that i should have a curfew, or at least a bed time. Huh. I can't be the only one that feels this way. I sure hope not. But anyways, I will miss my children, and the wonderful ladies that I work with. And Chris. He was the only guy at KCDS, such a trooper. i am happy that they made my last day memorable and awesome.

So I'm babysitting right now, they are all sleeping so don't think I'm neglecting anyone in any way by updating my blog. Babysitting this family makes me want to be that girl that wears tutus and cowboy boots. their youngest, does that quite often and being around her makes me want to be 3 again. or not even. just brave enough to dress like that in public and rock it like a 3 year old does.

i have the next 2 weeks off before I start student teaching. no work, except for the occasional babysitting that i do to keep me sane. I need a project. I'm almost positive that I might drive Brian to drinking after being stuck with me for 2 weeks straight. He has the next 2 weeks off of work too. Man, am I gonna drive him nuts!

Eric, I think I'm rambling now. Well folks, I hope that more than just Eric read this..cause I think that I'm just down right hilarious! HAHAHAHA. See..i'm funny.

Happy Friday Night everyone. I shall miss you till the morrow. ;-)

December is a busy month!

Whew... December is just flying by. Dear time, please sloooow down! Friday is my last day at work, and I could just lay in a corner and cry about it. I love my job. I love the people I work with. I love my boss, and I love my kiddos! I don't know if you are all aware, or have ever experienced what I am going through but it sucks! I see these kids every day. We eat, drink, and poop together! I am going to miss them soooo sooo much! It's like saying goodbye to like 20 of my own children.

But, with change comes good things. Student teaching begins in January!!! OMFG! I will do my first placement at Ishikawa in a 2nd grade classroom, and then my next placement will be in a pre-k classroom at Mendoza. I'm stoked. I am excited to get in there, and get my hands dirty with finger paint and playdough.

Brian's birthday was fabulous! Disneyland was amazing!!! I made him go on a scavengar hunt on the way there, and at Disneyland. He was a good sport and did an excellent job.

So that's about all that's happening in the Gibson home. We're boring. But no news is good news right? We are gonna start looking into buying a house in the new year, that will be our next step in our life. Yay for having more than 10 feet of walking space!!

Let the Christmas Season Begin!!

Thanksgiving was fabulous! It was my first Thanksgiving with the Gibsons and I loved it! I haven't had a big Thanksgiving since we moved here from Minnesota. So, it felt really nice to have people all around. It was different to be away from my family, but we were sure to visit them and eat some pie too! We went Christmas shopping today and we got it all finished! That sure does feel good to be all done! Only 2 weeks left of school!! I'm going to finish all of my homework tomorrow and then I will be free! Can't wait!

I am very thankful.

This has been a very wonderful year so far and I am thankful for many things! I am thankful for my friends and my family and my lovely husband. I am thankful for the Gospel in my life and all the many blessings that I have. The following is a play by play of some of the things that I am thankful for this year!

February: Stephen and Jodi got married!! I am so happy that they are apart of my family! March: We took our engagement pictures!!! This was the first thing that happened that actually made it feel like we were going to get married. Having a 9 month engagement is hard when you are surrounded by other couples getting engaged after you and getting married before you. But taking our pictures was tons of fun! Mike Wiltbank did a fabulous job!

April: I got the opporutnity to go to the TARIAT conference at NAU. I got to spend some quality time with the wonderful ladies I go to school with. May: May was a great month. My bridal shower was in May. Brian also got ordained in May! I was so proud of him. I still am! He is a wonderful man who honors his priesthood! Doesn't he look so cute in his church clothes?!

June: I got married in June!!! Yay!! The day was perfect and I am very thankful for everyone who made it perfect!

Mike and Anna got married the next day, and eventhough we werent there we are excited for them as well. They are expecting a baby girl due in April.

July: In July we went to San Diego for Comic Con. We're awesome like that. We went to Univeral Studios too and had a great time. I am very thankful that we were able to take a mini vacation before school started again.

Camden was born in July as well!! I love him!! Kaela and Derek are such wonderful parents!!

(This picture was taken in October, he's a lot bigger in this picture, but just as cute as ever!)

September: My dad came home! I am so thankful for our troops and all they do for our country! I am also thankful that my dad came home safely!
Devan June Gordon was also born in September! I adore her as well!! She looks just like a mini-Meesa!!

In September my good friend David's sister Ashleigh passed away after a battle with colon cancer. I didn't know Ashleigh personally but her death affected me greatly. I spent many nights in tears over the family that she left behind. Hearing how wonderful Ashleigh was made me realize that I need to live my life to the fullest. She really helped me open my eyes to the beauty of this world and made me appreciate all of the blessings that I have.

October: My baby sister Chanea turned 13!!! Wow, she's growing up so fast! I am so thankful for her and for the happiness she brings into my life. Haha, I love this picture. She didn't want to wear the hat. But she did, just long enough for me to take this picture! Happy Birthday Bayna!!

Chase and Courtney also got married in October! Just another wonderful addition to the Gibson family!

November: Just a few weeks after my baby sister turned 13 we found out some terrible news. Her cerebral palsy is getting worse and she has congestive heart failure. But, we also just found out that she probably wont have to be in a wheelchair for another year. But still, this was a very difficult time for me and my family. I am thankful for all my friends and family who were there for me when I needed them.

I also turned 23 this year. Brian went above and beyond and made my birthday perfect! There is an earlier blog entry that details it all! I am thankful for a fabulous husband who makes me feel so special and loved! I love you honey!

And also in November, Brian's best friend Austin got married!! It was so special to watch them fall in love and get married. Congratulations!!!

I am thankful for so many things, and so many people. I am thankful for my job, for all that they do for me. I work with great people! I love my friends and family and am thankful for them as well! I live a very blessed life and am thankful year 'round for the wonderful blessings in my life!

This is my new post.

Well, the semester is ALMOST OVER!!!!! Horay! I have 3 weeks left and then on to student teaching. I have finished all my assignments except for my 2 group projects and my research paper. I'm proud of myself.

Brian and I just applied to be on the Newlywed Game. We were thinking about doing the Amazing Race but that required too much. The application alone was 13 pages. No thanks. So wish us luck, that would be so much fun!

Brian and I are rocking on our healthy eating diet. No sugar or white flour for us! I feel so much better just from eating healthy. I love it!

My birthday party was this weekend, and it was a lot of fun! We went to Sweet Tomatoes and Jesterz. I love spending time with my friends!

I cannot believe that Christmas is only 6 weeks away. Yikes! Better get going on our presents.

I'm taking Brian to Disneyland for his 24th Birthday on December 5th. Its going to be awesome. It's a secret about what we are all doing there so I can't share the details now, but it is going to be so much fun!

My sister is having a really hard time right now, she is very angry about all that is happening. Please pray for her to be comforted and to be happy.

That's all for now I think. Love you all!
