WELCOME TO OUR BLOG!

This is where we write about how ooey gooey in love we are, about the things we like to do, and about our journey as new parents. Pull up a chair, and stay a while. We're glad you stopped by.

Just another manic monday.

Today was exhausting. Not only am I still a tad bit sicky, but my wonderful aide threw out her back so I was all alone today. Man oh man, it was tiring. I know my kids could sense that I wasn't feeling all that great, and they took full advantage. They were little pistols. So note to self: Never let them see you when you're down. But I survived, barely. Luckily the weather here in sunny Arizona is finally getting tolerable so that we can have our afternoon recess. Hooray for that.

I still have a headache from today though.

I feel totally grown up and in charge. I was just laying on the floor grading papers and transferring their scores into my grade book. Something about that just made me seem super grown up and responsible. It was one of those moments that I've dreamed about doing for the past 5 years or so when it felt like college was never ending. But I finished, and here I am- living my dream and loving my job. It is truly the best thing ever and I'm so happy to finally be getting into the swing of things. I needed to catch my own rhythm and I think I'm just about there.

But man am I tired. It's my bedtime.

Tomorrow is a new day. And I'm babysitting after work- I'll be all sorts of drained tomorrow.

Sweet dreams bloggers.

I love comments. But only if they're kind. If you have nothing nice to say, please don't say anything at all.
